One of the main events during the District Conference in Tartu was  recognition of rotarians and clubs showing excellent activities and work to promote Rotary.

Below please find a list awards and fellowships given at the the District Conference:

 

The Project of the Year

The project award is given for a project implemented during the completed Rotary year.

Helsinki Baltic Sea / Keijo Upola: In the project of the Rotary year, club members and partners wove more than 6,000 woolen socks and donated them together with warm underwear to Ukraine in the spirit of Rotarians – service before self.

 

The Arena of Opinions

Award for the best club of the Rotary year as criteria: visibility, openness, talkativeness.

Pärnu Lahe / Marika Töke:  The club showed support and help to those whose movement needs support by building walkways by the water and making the work of Rotarians visible.

 

Making Rotary Known

Award for increasing awareness of Rotary and the idea of rotary

Borgå Västra – Porvoo Läntinen:  The club showed strong and courageous information and communication skills by making Rotary activities known in its 50th anniversary year.
