The two nation Rotary golf event was held on May 23rd at Hillside Golf – now for the second time.
There were four participating teams, with the Tallinn club representing Estonian Rotary clubs.
From Finland, three clubs took part: Loviisa RC, Helsinki Maneesi Golf Masters, and Vihti Nummela club. There were three women in total across two teams. Unfortunately, the Online Rotarians and the Vihti club had to cancel their participation due to health reasons.
The weather favored us with sunshine between two rainy days. All teams were surprisingly strong, making the competition exciting. Strong individual performances ultimately secured the victory for the Vihti Nummela club. The winning team received a shield shaped wall plaque with Rotary emblems, as shown in the picture.
Other prizes were also awarded, and the women received an additional prize: a golf glove.
Finally, we enjoyed a meal together and had a traditional Finnish sauna.
The next Rotarygolf will be played on August 20th in Saaremaa. Welcome to join the competition!
