Rotary International supports and directs Rotarians and Clubs in achieving the goals. The Annual Meeting is the highest decision-making body of Rotary International, where each club is entitled to send its official representative, and each Rotarian to participate.
The lead person of Rotary International is the President with one year term of office. In Rotary year 2018-19 the President will be Barry Rassin from Rotary Club of East Nassau New Providence, Bahamas.
The RI headquarters is located in Evanston, Illinois, near Chicago. At the headquarters work some 530 people led by the Secretary General. In addition, Rotary International has seven regional offices around the world. The Zurich regional office for Europe and Africa (EAO) serves the Finnish Rotarians.
