Rotary International supports and directs Rotarians and Clubs in achieving the goals. The Annual Meeting is the highest decision-making body of Rotary International, where each club is entitled to send its official representative, and each Rotarian to participate.
The lead person of Rotary International is the President with one year term of office. In Rotary year 2020-2021 the President is Holger Knaack from Rotary Club of Herzogtum Lauenburg-Mölln, German.
The RI headquarters is located in Evanston, Illinois, near Chicago. At the headquarters work some 530 people led by the CEO. In addition, Rotary International has seven regional offices around the world. The Zurich regional office for Europe and Africa (EAO) serves the Finnish Rotarians.
