Weekly meeting 33 – the subject of the presentation is “Ego presentation” (Vilma Karlsson)

The Rotary Club of Rovaniemi gathered for its 33rd weekly meeting today at Hotel Santa Claus.

Rotarians give presentations on professional or current topics. New Rotarians always give an ego presentation first, where they tell other members of the community about themselves and their interests.

This week’s presentation was given by sister Vilma Karlsson and the topic was her ego presentation. Sister Vilma is a diamond talent studying at the University of Lapland’s Faculty of Art and Design, who combines knowledge of the natural sciences, artistry and design. Vilma told us about herself, her studies, her hobbies and her interests. Vilma’s presentation featured several beautiful and skillful drawings, design plans, clay works and murals made by her.

The presentation started interesting discussions and memories in the club about studying, education policy and the essence of design. Again a very nice club meeting, which the president unfortunately had to close to start the board meeting.
