Weekly meeting 32 – company/community visit to Norrhydro

The Rotary Club of Rovaniemi and the Rotary Club of Santa Claus gathered today at the premises of Norrhydro Group Oyj for a joint weekly meeting. Norrhydro is a Finnish motion control pioneer and Scandinavia’s leading provider of energy-efficient hydraulic cylinders.

CEO Yrjö Trög told about the company’s operations and the new innovative and intelligent hydraulic cylinders. With their help, considerable energy savings can be achieved in work machines, as well as enhanced work steps and improved efficiency. Significant patented solutions that drive the green transition forward.

Norrhydro makes long-term partnerships with its customers, which include large forest machine, material handling, earthmoving machine, mining machine manufacturers, as well as companies that manufacture marine and offshore equipment.

The new production facilities in Rovaniemi are certified with both quality and energy efficiency certificates. During the visit, CEO Trög also presented the production facilities and told in detail about the working stages of the production of hydraulic cylinders. Modern production facilities can be converted and adapted to different production scalability requirements.
