Rotary district 1385 governors chain exchange was organized on August 12, 2023 in Oulu in the county government building. The occasion was preceded by a beautiful concert by Luohi, the federation choir of the Finnish Women’s Choir Association, in Oulu Cathedral. At the event, we heard a greeting from Terttu Savolainen, director general of the regional administration agency, and a speech from Oulu’s new mayor, Seppo Määttä. The previous governor Arja Saarento handed over the Governor’s Neclace to the governor Petri Keränen.
Rovaniemi Rotary Club President Manu Pajuluoma and Rovaniemi Santa Claus Rotary Club President Jaana Koskela participated in the event from Rovaniemi.
