At our 7th weekly meeting, youth exchange officer brother Jari Nykänen spoke about Rotary’s youth exchange and presented the activities of our youth exchange team. Rovaniemi Rotary Club is preparing to send an exchange student to the world for the season 2024-2025.
Our exchange student Maija-Liisa Kuusimäki brought greetings from her own year exchange to our meeting. Maija-Liisa gave a great presentation and at the same time showed the photos she took of her exchange year in Colombia. After that, Maija-Liisa handed over the Santa Fe de Bogota Rotary Club’s pennant, and Rovaniemi Rotary Club, in turn, handed over its pennant to Maija-Liisa by the brother of the previous president, Kenneth Karlsson.
