The Rotary Club of Rovaniemi met on August 8, 2023 for its 2nd weekly meeting. Brother Toni Kurvinen had in turn invited Pello’s recently retired municipal manager Eero Ylitalo to give the presentation. Eero presented on the topic “Unlimited municipal cooperation in Tornionlaakso”. The presentation emphasized the importance of cooperation across borders and sparked an enthusiastic discussion on the topic.
We also had Victoria as a guest, who promised to travel to the next meeting as well. Welcome again!
The club also held two cooperation meetings with the Rovaniemi Santa Claus Rotary Club, when we thought about future project cooperation and planned the milestones of the Aurora Borealis wicket project.
