At the 11th weekly meeting of the Rotary Club of Rovaniemi, sister Mirja Kangas had invited Sirkka-Liisa Olli, strategy director of the Lapland welfare region, as a speaker. Because the Lapland region is large and the distances are long, the show was held as usual from Kittilä with remote connections. The topic was “Strategy implementation progress in Lapland’s welfare area” and the broad and good knowledge base of the presentation will certainly be useful in the daily work of many Rotarians. Brother Kenneth Karlsson reported to the weekly meeting live in gonzo style, directly from the fireplace construction site of the Northern Lights wicket.
