When disaster strikes, people lose everything in an instant: their homes, belongings, and sense of security. In that moment, one thing can mean more than anything else – shelter. ShelterBox delivers it.
ShelterBox is an international disaster relief organization founded by Rotarians 25 years ago. It provides emergency shelter and essential supplies to crisis zones around the world. Each green box contains a tent, blankets, water purification tools, cooking utensils, tools, and other basic items – everything a family needs to survive and start anew.
ShelterBox and Rotary have been strategic partners since 2012, but their collaboration goes back much further. From the beginning, Rotarians were involved in delivering aid where it was needed most. Even today, Rotary clubs around the world support ShelterBox through donations, awareness, and hands-on action – often being the first on the scene when disaster hits.
Rotarians make ShelterBox’s work possible. Every donation, campaign, and speech advances the same goal: that no family should be left without shelter after a disaster. When a Rotary club donates to ShelterBox, it gives more than money – it gives a home, safety, and hope to people who have lost everything.
Together, we’ve already helped over three million people in more than 100 countries. But the need continues. Earthquakes, storms, and wars destroy homes every day. ShelterBox is ready to respond – but we need your support to keep going.
