Rovaniemi Rotary Club, Rovaniemi Santa Claus Rotary Club and Sodankylä Rotary Club made a joint spring trip to Helsinki on May 16-17, 2024. Thanks to all participants!
The trip to Helsinki started with a visit to the parliament. We listened to the question session, after which Rotary brother Heikki Autto introduced us to the parliament building. There were also sisters and brothers from the Rotary Club of Pasila.
On Thursday evening, we went to a concert by the Helsinki City Orchestra at Musiikkitalo.
On Friday, we made two company visits: to Innovation Home and Kaurila’s sauna. At Innovation Home, we heard the inspiring story of Kovanen’s Capital Family Office and the wonderful business story of Eeva Kovanen. At Kaurila Sauna, we made sustainable purchases.
We participated in the weekly lunch meeting of the Helsinki Maneesi club.
The flags were exchanged with President Laura Holland.
We also visited the library Oodi.
The trip ended with dinner at a restaurant in Manala.
