The Rotary clubs of Rovaniemi have started the construction of the Northern Lights wicket. The much-needed, hoped-for and loved Northern Lights wicket is supposed to be put into use by mid-October. The new wicket will be built at the same place in Rotary Forest Park as the wicket that was destroyed as a result of arson.
The first works sites, which were also open to the public, were held on August 19-20, 2023. In addition to the vigorous Rotarians and the boys of Napa KP, many people from Rovaniemi participated in the talkies.
The second open worksite started on August 29, 2023, when we started building the roof of the Northern Lights wicket. The construction site got off to a good start and we are going to pick up more construction materials. Welcome to a nice group to do good from 30 August 2023 at 5 pm!
