The Rotary clubs of Rovaniemi are starting the construction of the Northern Lights wicket. The much-needed, hoped-for and loved Northern Lights wicket is supposed to be put into use by mid-October. The new wicket will be built at the same place in Rotary Forest Park as the wicket that was destroyed as a result of arson.
The first works sites, which were also open to the public, were held on August 19-20, 2023. In addition to the vigorous Rotarians and the boys of Napa KP, many people from Rovaniemi participated in the talkies.
Next, we will build a roof for the Northern Lights wicket. Welcome to everyone’s open roof construction site on 29 August 2023 from 17:00!
