International Cooperation
The Baltic Sea Forum cooperates with several international organisations.
BASRAN – Baltic Sea Regional Action Network
BASRAN – Baltic Sea Regional Action Network supports Rotarians in starting and participating in service projects. It raises awareness of the Baltic Sea, the environmental pressures affecting it, and the opportunities to contribute to its protection.
The district has two representatives in BASRAN Marve Virunum from Estonia and Päivi-Kippo Edlund from Uusimaa (Finland).

ESRAG – Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group

The purpose of ESRAG is to empower Rotarians worldwide to take action to sustain our environment, particularly to help stabilise the climate.
CAFW – Community Action for Fresh Water
Its goal is to encourage Rotary clubs to take action to protect, restore and maintain freshwater ecosystems. It also highlights what Rotary clubs are already doing in their watersheds around the world. A project database has now been opened for CAFW. A project is first defined, after which activities can be added. No project is too small or insufficiently “Rotary” to be included in the database.
