Rotarians have worked for decades to eradicate polio from the world. However, the work must continue, since newborn children around the globe need to be vaccinated. The efforts have borne great fruit, but the very last fraction is persistent, and some cases still occur, for example in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

You have the opportunity to make a difference by donating to the Rotary Foundation’s End Polio project. For every euro we give, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation donates an additional two euros. So let’s take action together: on October 24, End Polio Day, let’s walk and donate one euro for every kilometer walked through My Rotary for this good cause. We can walk either together or individually, but gather the funds collectively.

More information will be provided to the club presidents.
