Tapiola Rotary Club and the Parish of Tapiola will jointly organise an Evening of Hope on 14 April 2026 at 18:00 in Tapiola Church. The event brings together organisations and individuals who inspire hope, to reflect on themes related to a better world and peace, as well as on the factors that create hope in today’s world.
The event includes a Hope and Future seminar, with non-fiction author and linguist Janne Saarikivi as the keynote speaker. In the seminar’s panel discussion, representatives of different Christian denominations and youth organisations will discuss these themes together with Tapiola Rotary Club’s Tapiola Citizen of the Year 2026, children’s and youth sports coach Kirsti Sysimetsä. The event also includes a Hope Market, organised by the parish youth in the church facilities, where various actors present activities related to the evening’s theme. Rotarians will also have their own stand at the market.
This is a joint anniversary seminar, as Tapiola Church turns 60 years and Tapiola Rotary Club 40 years.
