Rovaniemi Rotary Club's weekly meeting on the Revontulilaavu.

What We Do

The Rotary Club of Rovaniemi is a service organization that has come of good age. Active members form the basis of its operation. The core of the club’s activities is the Tuesday weekly meetings. In the picture above, the weekly meeting was held at the Northern Lights wicket built by the clubs of Rovaniemi and won an award in 2022.

The Northern Lights wicket was burned down in the spring of 2022. But as a joint project of the Rovaniemi clubs, but it was rebuilt as a joint project of Rovaniemi clubs in the fall of 2023. The popular destination is once again a delight for everyone!

Through various activities, we serve the local community and you can meet us, for example, at Rovaniemi’s Old Market playing rotary roulette. We are also actively involved in Rotarians’ international activities, such as polio collection and youth exchange activities.

In Youth Exchange, every two years we send a young person from Lapland to the world and we receive a young person from the world to get to know the Finnish way of life. Come join a good group!
