District 1420 Rotary Tent

Our district owns a nice Nopsa tent in Rotary’s colors. A tent with the Rotary logo and our district number is a striking landmark that makes it easy to increase Rotary’s visibility at events and occasions.

The Rotary tent can be freely borrowed by all clubs in our district.

Here is information about the tent and the quote.

  1. You can inquire about borrowing a tent from the district’s communications at the address viestinta1420@gmail.com. Tell me when you would need to borrow a tent, for which event, and who is the person responsible for the tent during the event.
  2. The size of the tent is 3×3 m.
  3. The tent will be stored in Rotary office, where it will also be returned.
  4. The tent fits just right in an ordinary car, but transport is easier with a station wagon. The package includes a large tent bag and a large bag for wall fabrics. The tent weighs quite a lot, so it is good to book two people with healthy backs for pick-up and return. However, the heavier package has  pull handles, and tires to make transportation easier.
  5. There is an instruction booklet with assembly instructions in the pocket of the tent package. Assembling is easy, but in the beginning it requires four people to pull the rails from each corner and raise the tent to the desired height. After that, even one person can attach the corners and side walls. You can also find assembly instructions here:  https://www.teltat.fi/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Nopsa_Pikateltta_kayttoohje.pdf
  6. Dry the tent carefully before packing if it is wet!
  7. Before assembling and after packing, check that all parts are included: Tent frame with attached roof, All side walls of the tent, Four ground wedges, Four fastening straps, Instruction booklet
  8. It is imperative to attach four weights to the corners of the tent so that the tent does not take off with the wind! The weights are in the Rotary office. Check that they are included!
  9. If any part of the tent breaks, the borrower undertakes to report the matter and take care of and pay for the repair as other Rotarians together with their club (tent repair service:
