On June 30, 2025, a ceremonial governor chain handover event was held in Lohja. Aune Past, a member of the Tartu Hansa Rotary Club and the outgoing District Governor for the Rotary year, handed over her insignia of office to the new District Governor, Jere Jantunen, who represents the Rotary Club of Lohja.

The unforgettable and warm-spirited ceremony was held at Café Liisa and was attended by over 30 Rotarians.

During the event, a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) recognition was also awarded to Jaana Hertell-Amokrané, known as the “angel” of the Rotary office serving Rotary in Finland and Estonia — in gratitude for her unwavering support, solution-oriented work, and heartfelt contributions, which have helped keep district operations smooth and inspiring.

A warm thank you to all participants – Unite for Good!
