One of the highlights of the Rotary year is the annual district conference, held each spring and bringing together members from clubs across the district to focus on an important theme. The 2026 conference will take place at Kalastajatorppa, and the theme is “Youth and the Future”. A diverse group of speakers at ministerial and ambassadorial level, as well as representatives from various organisations, will share their insights on the current situation and future prospects of young people. A representative of Rotary International will also honour the event with their presence.
The day’s programme begins with a seminar at 10:00, featuring 10–12 speakers from different organisations. We will also hear the voices of young people. Lunch will be served during the seminar, and the programme concludes at 16:00.
The day culminates in the evening celebration starting at 18:00 in the Round Hall of Kalastajatorppa. Guests will enjoy a three course dinner, Rotary spirited entertainment, music and dancing. We have also arranged an affordable accommodation option at the hotel before and/or after the conference.
Bring your partner, represent your club, and meet fellow Rotarians. You may participate in the full day or choose either the daytime seminar (45 €/person) or the evening celebration (110 €/person).
