Hyvinkää Rotary Club is once again distributing food bags and Christmas trees to low-income residents. This year, 120 trees and 400 food bags will be handed out.

Originally called “A Tree for Everyone,” the event has steadily grown in popularity. Over the past five years, the club has distributed 2,900 food bags and more than a thousand trees, along with thousands of sausages, pancakes, and hot drinks.

For the first time, the charity Hope ry is joining by selecting part of the recipients. The organization supports families in need or facing sudden crises. The event is also supported by the City of Hyvinkää, local businesses, Lions Club Puolimatka, and Hyria.

Distribution day is Saturday, December 21, starting at 9 a.m. at Muottikatu 5. Items must be reserved in advance via joulujokaiselle.fi between December 5–19.

Donations are again collected at Willa shopping center. Private individuals can contribute by purchasing products at K-Citymarket and Prisma. Recommended items include raisins, dried fruit, gingerbread, rice, and honey.
