Who We Are

Who We Are

The Houtskär Rotary Club is an active rotary club in the Southwest Finland archipelago. We meet every other Wednesday, odd weeks, for an evening meeting at 18.00-19.00 at Restaurant Sybarit to meet each other, listen to interesting lectures and promote good causes in our area. Visits to different places are also part of our program. We support the humanitarian projects of the International Rotary Organization, participate in youth exchanges, and promote the well-being of our local community.

Our club was founded on 2.2.2026.
Our sponsor club is Nagu Rotary Club.
Our club has 31 members.
We belong to district 1410.

A Hobby with a Purpose

The four-way test

  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIRto all concerned?
  3. Will it BUILD GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIP?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIALto all concerned?

We appreciate Rotary International’s efforts and the organization’s valuable work in eradicating polio from the world, among other things. To this work alone, Rotary has invested a lot of volunteer work and over 1.2 billion US dollars.
