PrePELS and PELS<\/h1>\n

Rotary PELS<\/strong> (President-Elect Learning Seminar) is a training program for future club presidents and secretaries. It is an important part of Rotary’s training program and aims to prepare elected presidents and secretaries to responsibly and effectively perform their roles in the club during the next term. The PELS training is divided into remote introductory prePELS events and a joint, all-day PELS training that takes place as in-person training.<\/p>\n

The main themes of the PELS training:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Leadership \u00a0 Development<\/strong>: The training focuses on strengthening the leadership skills of future presidents, such as vision creation, team motivation, and decision-making. Secretaries receive information about their diverse duties in assisting the President.<\/li>\n
  2. Rotary’s Core Values and Strategies<\/strong>: Participants will learn more deeply about Rotary’s values, goals, and international programs.<\/li>\n
  3. Club Planning<\/strong>: Training focuses on club administration, finances, membership recruitment, project planning and communication.<\/li>\n
  4. Networking\u00a0 and sharing experiences:<\/strong> PELS offers participants the opportunity to network with other future presidents as well as experienced Rotarians, facilitating collaboration and improving operations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The training includes lectures, workshops and group discussions on practical situations and problems. The event is led by experienced Rotarians, such as district governors and other leaders.<\/p>\n

    Rotary PETS (President-Elect Training Seminar)<\/strong> on koulutusohjelma, joka on suunnattu tuleville klubipresidenteille ja sihteereille. Se on t\u00e4rke\u00e4 osa Rotaryn koulutusohjelmaa ja sen tavoitteena on valmistaa valitut presidentit ja sihteerit hoitamaan vastuullisesti ja tehokkaasti rooliaan klubissa seuraavalla toimikaudella. PETS- koulutus jakautuu et\u00e4n\u00e4 pidett\u00e4viin johdatteleviin prePETS tilaisuuksiin ja yhteiseen, koko p\u00e4iv\u00e4n kest\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4n PETS- koulutukseen, joka tapahtuu l\u00e4sn\u00e4koulutuksena.<\/p>

    PETS-koulutuksen p\u00e4\u00e4teemat:<\/p>

    1. Johtajuuden kehitt\u00e4minen:<\/strong> Koulutus keskittyy vahvistamaan tulevien presidenttien johtamistaitoja, kuten vision luomista, tiimin motivointia ja p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksentekoa. Sihteerit saavat tietoa monipuolisesta teht\u00e4v\u00e4st\u00e4\u00e4n presidentin apuna.<\/li>
    2. Rotaryn perusarvot ja strategiat<\/strong>: Osallistujat oppivat syv\u00e4llisemmin Rotaryn arvoista, tavoitteista ja kansainv\u00e4lisist\u00e4 ohjelmista.<\/li>
    3. Klubitoiminnan suunnittelu<\/strong>: Koulutuksessa perehdyt\u00e4\u00e4n klubin hallintoon, talouteen, j\u00e4senhankintaan, projektien suunnitteluun ja viestint\u00e4\u00e4n.<\/li>
    4. Verkostoituminen ja kokemusten jakaminen<\/strong>: PETS tarjoaa osallistujille mahdollisuuden verkostoitua muiden tulevien presidenttien sek\u00e4 kokeneiden rotareiden kanssa, mik\u00e4 helpottaa yhteisty\u00f6t\u00e4 ja parantaa toimintaa.<\/li><\/ol>
