Rotarien avustuksesta voi poikia yllättäviä seurausvaikutuksia. Keväällä 2011 vierailin taas kerran Pohjois-Thaimaan ChiangMaissa sikäläisen vain naisjäsenistä koostuvan The Rotary Club of CiangMai ThinThaiNgnam -klubin kokouksessa.
