Alla projekt som st\u00f6ds med Global Grant-stipendier b\u00f6r handla om ett eller flera av Rotarys tyngdpunktsomr\u00e5den. Dessa \u00e4r:<\/p>\n

  1. Fredsforskning, konfliktf\u00f6rebyggande arbete och konfliktl\u00f6sning<\/li>\n
  2. F\u00f6rebyggande och behandling av sjukdomar<\/li>\n
  3. Vatten och sanitet<\/li>\n
  4. M\u00f6drars och barns h\u00e4lsa<\/li>\n
  5. Grundl\u00e4ggande utbildning, l\u00e4s- och skrivkunnighet<\/li>\n
  6. Ekonomisk och samh\u00e4llelig utveckling<\/li>\n
  7. Naturskydd<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Budgeten f\u00f6r ett Global Grant-finansierat projekt b\u00f6r vara minimum 30\u00a0000 USD. Varje Global Grant b\u00f6r ha tv\u00e5 klubbar eller distrikt som sponsorer: en v\u00e4rdpartner i det land d\u00e4r aktiviteten f\u00f6rsigg\u00e5r, och en internationell partner utanf\u00f6r landet. Med Global Grant-stipendierna st\u00e4var Rotary efter mera storskaliga projekt \u00e4n tidigare, med h\u00e5llbar effekt och som \u00e5stadkommer best\u00e5ende f\u00f6r\u00e4ndring. Ocks\u00e5 arbetet f\u00f6r att helt utrota polio \u00e4r en del av Rotarys internationella verksamhet.<\/p>\n
